Another Inspection - Why the Appraiser?
November 6th, 2016 11:18 PM

The appraiser just like any other professional, has to see your property to be able to measure the square footage. Along with the square feet, we are looking for the number of rooms, the conditions, and what upgrades have been completed. The appraiser is also looking for the number of rooms, bathrooms, and bedrooms on each floor. Be sure to note any hidden area that the appraiser will have trouble finding. You will often be shocked and wonder how the appraiser knows his way around your home. Don't worry about this. The appraiser has physically seen the interior of thousands of homes. Most homes are built with the same theories of location of stairs, bathrooms, and the side of the floor plan gives away where the master suite is located. Have no fear, your typical appraisal inspection can take 30-45 minutes (depending on the size of your home).
